Paddy Gibney, a singer/songwriter originally from Dublin, Ireland, and Bill Ayerbe, a classically trained violinist originally from New York, are currently based in Fayetteville, North Carolina and are playing to packed houses in the Carolinas. Their repertoire of traditional Irish music, bawdy pub songs, covers, and original music continues to draw crowds gig after gig. The pub songs, notably The Friendly Little Cat, Alice, Seven Drunken Nights, Barnacle Bill, Wild Rover, etc, draw a very large following from the local college community and from the military community at nearby Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base.
